Poem # 1 launches a series of choreographic events at the Volkskundemuseum in Vienna. As the performance unravels, the audience is invited to work on their daily writing tasks: applications, e-mails, long forgotten instant messages, shopping lists… Everything taking place in the space is to be considered poetry.

Noa & Snow welcomes the unexpected in our quotidian activities in order to turn poetry into a mode of living. If current political structures are based on highly regulated attention economies, we open an experiment into new forms of coexistence where our gaze can wander as we like. Intersections between choreographic/artistic practice and every-day life correspond with the space at Volkskundemuseum dedicated to the exploration of everyday-life art.

This project was made possible with the love and support of Agnès Quackels, Jennifer Lacey, Alice Chauchat, Jacopo Lanteri, Raimundas Malašauskas, Sarah Blumenfeld, Herbert Justnik, Caroline Madl, Joachim Hamou
